Alba is the designated Sister City to Medford. Alba, Italy was selected as Medford's Sister City on February 18, 1960, because of its many similar characteristics to Medford, including location, environment, climate, agricultural economy, and other mutual interests. Day 4: 10/20/2024 - Day at Leisure - Alba

Enjoy a day at leisure. The city of Alba is mostly known for its food. A culinary epicenter on a global level, Alba Italy is home to the Slow Food Movement, noble wines made with the Nebbiolo grape, and white truffles. The old town - Le Suquet-, is still a delicious maze of medieval streets and Renaissance houses. We continue onward to Antibes, nestled in the beautiful Cote d' Azur. Antibes was founded as a 5th century BC Greek colony settled by Phocaeans and also known as the longtime home of Picasso.
