Day 1: 10/12/2021 - USA - Ireland

Fly transatlantic overnight to Ireland. Dinner is served and in-flight entertainment is provided.

Day 2: 10/13/2021 - Arrive in Ireland

Welcome to Ireland. Upon arrival, you are met by your guide and transferred to your hotel located in Limerick. Perfectly placed and set within vibrant shopping and theater district of Limerick City. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing and enjoying your surroundings. (In-Flight meals)

Day 3: 10/14/2021 - The Cliffs of Moher - Galway

This morning enjoy a guided journey towards the Clare coast to the Cliffs of Moher where a magical vista awaits you. The Cliffs are 600 feet high and span for 6 miles along the Atlantic Ocean on the western seaboard of County Clare. O'Brien's Tower stands proudly on a headland of the majestic Cliffs. From the Cliffs one can see the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, as well as The Twelve Pins and the Maum Turk Mountains in Connemara. Afterwards, depart for Galway where you enjoy a panoramic tour, followed by free time to explore the shops, cafes and pubs on Quay Streets. Later, return to Limerick. (B)

Day 4: 10/15/2021 - Limerick

Today you are free to explore on your own. Enjoy a stroll through Limerick, Ireland. Explore many famous Irish landmarks, theatrical and sporting events, only a short walk or taxi-ride away from your hotel. Spend time browsing through the antique and clothing boutiques and getting acquainted with the local people in one of the many restaurants and pubs. Later, you may wish to join our Chamber Exchange this evening where you will meet with local business representatives. (B)

Day 5: 10/16/2021 - Dingle Excursion

Our included tour today features panoramic views of the Dingle Peninsula on the way to the Blasket Island Center. Learn about the way of life and unique literary achievements on this string of remote offshore islands which were last inhabited in 1953. Visit Dingle, which many may recognize as the film setting for "Ryan's Daughter". Enjoy this market town and fishing port. Later, we will return to Limerick. (B)

Day 6: 10/17/2021 - Cashel - Kilkenny - Bunratty

Today you will depart for the small town of Cashel where you will pause to visit the unforgettable "Rock of Cashel." The dramatic limestone rock crowned with secular and religious buildings dominates the flat countryside for miles around. Travel onward to historic Kilkenny. In medieval times this was a prosperous trading center and the narrow streets still follow ancient routes. Visit Kilkenny Castle, built in the 13th century, home to the powerful Butler family for almost 600 years. Tonight you will enjoy a medieval-style banquet and entertainment in Bunratty Castle. The castle was built around 1425, and was the stronghold of the high Kings and Earls who ruled the region. This evenings entertainment will be provided by Comely Colleens and portly Seanchais dressed in full medieval costume, as you are invited to dine with the Earl of Thomond. (B,DB)

Day 7: 10/18/2021 - Limerick - Blarney

Day at leisure. Take an optional trip to Blarney Castle where you can kiss the Blarney Stone for luck! (B)

Day 8: 10/19/2021 - Ireland - USA

After breakfast, we will travel to Dublin, if applicable (if not, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flights home.) (B)

Day 1: Dublin - This morning we make our way to Ireland’s majestic capital. We will take a panoramic tour of Dublin’s Fair City. We will stop and visit Trinity College, home of the Book of Kells and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. We’ll pass O’Connell Street, Europe’s largest street and pass Christchurch Cathedral, and the Bank of Ireland, which is formerly the Irish House of Parliament. If you keep a close eye on the road, you may even spot Molly Malone wheeling her wheelbarrow! This evening you’ll be transferred to your 1st Class Hotel in the heart of Dublin. Day 2: Dublin City Tour - The day is at leisure for you to explore the historic Irish city on your own. Perhaps take a tour of the Guinness Storehouse, the birthplace of this famous pint, in the heart of Dublin. (B) Day 3: Dublin/USA - After breakfast, we depart for Dublin Airport, where you will have time for duty free shopping before your flight. (B)
