Day 1: 04/17/2024 - USA - Ireland

Fly transatlantic overnight to Ireland. Dinner is served and in-flight entertainment is provided. London Pre-tour. group Full day to explore London at leisure using the hop-on-hop-off bus. You will see iconic London sights like the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Dinner is on your own tonight. There is a variety of places to eat in the city; you will have no problem finding a place to explore. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant this evening with the group. (B)

Day 2: 04/18/2024 - Arrive in Ireland

After breakfast, the London pre-tour group will make their way to Ireland where they will meet up with the Ireland Main Group Travelers and enjoy an afternoon at leisure. (B) Main Group Arrival into Ireland. Upon arrival (whether you are arriving from London or from the states), you are met by your Driver/Guide from Kerry Coaches and direct you to your coach and be your driver/guide throughout your time in Ireland! Upon arrival in Limerick, you'll check in to the Savoy Hotel and spend the remainder of the day relaxing and enjoying your surroundings where you may wish to explore the city. Join us for a Welcome Drink at the hotel this evening before venturing out for dinner on your own.

Day 3: 04/19/2024 - Cliffs of Moher & Galway

This morning enjoy a guided journey towards the Clare coast to the Cliffs of Moher where a magical vista awaits you. The cliffs are six hundred feet high and span for six miles along the Atlantic Ocean on the western seaboard of County Clare. O'Brien's Tower stands proudly on a headland of the majestic Cliffs. From the Cliffs one can see the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, as well as The Twelve Pins and the Maum Turk Mountains in Connemara. Afterwards, depart for Galway where you will enjoy a panoramic tour, followed by free time to explore the shops, cafés and pubs on Quay Streets. Later, return to Limerick. (B)

Day 4: 04/20/2024 - Day at Leisure

Enjoy a day at leisure today or you can participate in our optional tour to King John`s Castle in Limerick. (B)

Day 5: 04/21/2024 - Dingle Peninsula

Our included tour today features panoramic views of the Dingle Peninsula. The magnificent coastline consists of steep sea-cliffs such as Slea Head, dramatic headlands broken by sandy beaches, with the award-winning beach at Inch in the south and the tombolo of Maharees to the north. The Blasket Islands lie to the west and the peninsula is dotted with lovely villages that each offer their own unique Sense of Place. Visit Dingle, which many may recognize as the film setting for "Ryan's Daughter". Enjoy this market town and fishing port. Later, we will return to Limerick. (B)

Day 6: 04/22/2024 - Cashel - Kilkenny - Bunratty

Today you will depart for the small town of Cashel where you will pause to visit the unforgettable "Rock of Cashel." The dramatic limestone rock crowned with secular and religious buildings dominates the flat countryside for miles around. Travel onward to historic Kilkenny. In medieval times this was a prosperous trading center and the narrow streets still follow ancient routes. Visit Kilkenny Castle, built in the 13th century, home to the powerful Butler family for almost 600 years. Tonight you will enjoy a medieval-style banquet and entertainment in Bunratty Castle. The castle was built around 1425, and was the stronghold of the high Kings and Earls who ruled the region. This evenings entertainment will be provided by Comely Colleens and portly Seanchais dressed in full medieval costume, as you are invited to dine with the Earl of Thomond. (B,DB)

Day 7: 04/23/2024 - Limerick - Blarney

Day at leisure. Take an OPTIONAL trip to Blarney Castle where you can kiss the Blarney Stone for luck! Enjoy your evening with an Irish Coffee or a Cocktail at the Hamptons Restaurant at the Savoy Hotel before we make our way to Bunratty Castle for our medieval dinner event. (B, D)

Day 8: 04/24/2024 - Ireland - USA

Main Group departs Ireland to USA / DUBLIN Post-tour Begins After breakfast, you depart Limerick for the USA or for Dublin, for the optional post-tour program. We will travel by motorcoach to Dublin and check in at the Hotel. Following a city tour of Dublin, the rest of your day will be at leisure to explore this magnificent city. (B)

Day 1: Dublin - This morning we make our way to Ireland’s majestic capital. We will take a panoramic tour of Dublin’s Fair City. We will stop and visit Trinity College, home of the Book of Kells and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. We’ll pass O’Connell Street, Europe’s largest street and pass Christchurch Cathedral, and the Bank of Ireland, which is formerly the Irish House of Parliament. If you keep a close eye on the road, you may even spot Molly Malone wheeling her wheelbarrow! This evening you’ll be transferred to your 1st Class Hotel in the heart of Dublin. Day 2: Dublin City Tour - The day is at leisure for you to explore the historic Irish city on your own. Perhaps take a tour of the Guinness Storehouse, the birthplace of this famous pint, in the heart of Dublin.
